On 1976 she moved to Vienna. From 1976 to 1996 she worked in the haute couture and continued to drawing and painting, on and off.
on 1997, after the death of husband, she experienced a strong, new devotion to painting and painting courses, including the course at the Zeichenfabrik of Vienna led by Goda Palekaite.
For quite some time now: writing in mirror script; motif: reactivation.
the artist turns her attention to naturalism and pop art. Then she fills painting with contents and references to the fundamental mankind's conquests: physical, technology and generally the sciences.
Universal visions coexist into these canvas and they seem to be shot by microscope. The Karin Abati's imagery goes from art to every other method of knowledge of reality. Art is infact the first way to explore the world and the first relation between the world and the conscience.
The colors are used with freshness and elegance. Very impressive the chiaroscuro and the shades.
